This is a key role for SearchWorks. Along with our current data analyst, you will analyse SEO related data sets to guide the SEO planning process. This involves working with client requirements and setting out a ‘blueprint’ to guide clients on their expectations when looking to bring in more search traffic and to guide the in-house teams on what sort of webmaster relationships we should be looking to have. Your output then turns in to action lists that will steer the onsite and offsite planning for our clients.
You will also work on data sets procured from crawls of clients sites, where you will do gap analysis of that data showing where more traffic can be generated with a combination of onsite and off site activity. We avoid the job title of SEO analyst, because this is ultimately about being good at adding meaning and interpretation to data of almost any kind.

Because of the very specialised nature of the role, we care more about aptitude than direct experience. You will need to work full time and in Leeds. You will receive thorough ongoing training.
